British Airways Executive Club has brought back their transfer bonus for moving points from hotel programs into Avios. The bonus is 5% more than we saw this past spring as it is 35% this time which we haven’t seen since March of 2018. It good for six major hotel programs: Marriott Bonvoy, IHG Rewards Club, Radisson Rewards, Shangri-La’s Golden Circle, MeliáRewards and Best Western Rewards. If you are looking to boost your BA balance your best bet is converting Marriott Bonvoy points. 60,000 Marriott Bonvoy points will get you 20,000 Avios + the 5,000 bonus miles from Marriott + the 35% for a total of 33,750 Avios. Although unlikely, there may just be enough time for you to get in on this even if you don’t have enough Marriott points by grabbing the Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card with its 50,000 point Welcome bonus and getting some spend on it right away.
