Well it didn’t take Scotia too long to bring back this offer. In fact it has only just over a month since it last ended but seeing that all the cards that compete with the  Scotia Momentum Visa Infinite Card all have better welcome bonuses it only made sense to offer 10% again. Recommended listening: Podcast Episode 68 – Clash of the Credit Cards – The Ten Percenters Right now for new applications Scotia will award you with 10% cash back on all purchases up to $200 cash back in the first three months. Not only that but they will waive the first year annual fee of $120 on the primary card and if you grab a supplementary card they’ll waive the $50 fee on that as well at no cost. That means if you can spend $2,000 on the card in the first three months you’ll get the full $200 at no cost. After the first three months you will have your usual 4% on eligible recurring bill payments and grocery store purchases, 2% on eligible gas station and daily transit purchases and 1% cash back on all other eligible everyday purchases and with the annual fee waived in the first year it won’t cost you anything to give this card a shot…

You may recall that back in April during the height of the major shutdown American Express launched a promotion to provide more value out of Membership Rewards points for their non-travel Use Points for Purchases redemption option.
