We said the market would heat up in Canada when the new Air Canada Aeroplan program launches and for the most part that has now been the case for a few months. We’ve already seen the amazing offer for the HSBC World Elite Mastercard that came out in September, the statement credit boost on the MBNA Alaska Airlines Mastercard and of course now we’ve seen all the welcome bonuses on the new Aeroplan cards. So it’s no wonder that we’re seeing more boosted offers come out and the latest to be revealed today is this one for the WestJet RBC World Elite Mastercard. This new offer is the highest ever bonus seen on the card, to the public that is, as they did run a 450 offer like this a few months ago to a select targeted group of WestJet Rewards members.
