As John at LL states it is surprising that Marriott is allowing bookings well past the anticipated swtich over sometime in the first quarter of 2021. I know the Westin Grand is quite a popular hotel for our readers so you may want to keep this in mind if you are planning on staying here. If you have reservations already that are to be paid in cash (well by credit card) or prepaid reservations those should be honored even after the hotel switches hands. Here are the Rewards Canada Top 5 Travel Credit Card Sign Up offers for the month of December 2020! This is not a ‘best’ credit card list like our Top Travel Rewards Credit Card rankings but instead a look at cards that have very good acquisition (welcome/sign up) offers. As always when choosing a card you should always take other factors into account other than the just sign up bonus, but when some of these cards are first year free, they can and do pay off even when you grab them strictly for the sign up rewards. This month we see three first year free cards on the list There is no change this month from November – the list stays the same! Again this month’s Top 5 sign up offers are bit more on the subjective side thanks to Aeroplan’s new buddy pass that are being offered on many of the new Aeroplan cards. The value of this welcome bonus pass can vary greatly from as little as $100 to well beyond $2,000.
