Top 5 Cash Back Credit Card Sign Up offers for July - These cards provide the best value out of their welcome bonuses Here are Rewards Canada’s Top 5 Cash Back Credit Card Sign Up offers for the month of July 2021. This is not a ‘best’ credit card list like our Top Cash Back Credit Card rankings but instead a look at cards that have very good acquisition (welcome/sign up) offers. As always when choosing a card you should always take other factors into account other than the just sign up bonus, but when some of these cards are first year free, they can and do pay off even when you grab them strictly for the sign up rewards. This month is a status quo – no changes to report from JuneHere are the Top 5 Cards for this month in order of value:SimplyCash™ Preferred Card from American Express – 10% cash back on all purchases up to $4,000 (Apply here)Welcome offer cash back value: $301 ($400 – $99 annual fee) This card is offering 10% cash back on all spending during the first four months of having the card. Offer Extended - $0 companion fare + 350 WestJet dollars with the WestJet RBC World Elite MastercardWestJet and RBC have once again extended the offers on their co-brand credit cards. Namely, the $0 companion voucher offer on the WestJet RBC World Elite Mastercard has been extended for applications completed by August 16 and the card’s 350 dollar bonus on first purchase and the 2x dollars on select purchases will continue to August 31. The base level WestJet RBC Mastercard also continues with its increased welcome offer of 100 WestJet dollars. Here are details of the extended offers:WestJet RBC World Elite MastercardA very healthy 350 WestJet dollars after first purchase plus 2x the WestJet dollars on groceries, restaurants and food delivery for the first 3 months is the new offer for this card. This means you’ll earn a 3% return for each dollar you spend in those categories instead of 1.5%. I like this welcome offer as you only have to spend $1 to get that initial welcome bonus of 350 WestJet dollars and you don’t have to stress about meeting any minimum spend requirements. You can simply go out and buy your groceries, support your local restaurants and have your food delivered and earn those 2x dollars – doesn’t matter whether you spend $50 or $5,000 in the span of those 3 months…

Awesome new Amex Offers for hotel stays in Alberta, B.C., Ontario & Quebec - $50 credit for $250 in spend I was wondering when Canadian American Express cards would start to have travel related Amex Offers as we have seen dozens emerge south of the border over the past few months. I can stop wondering now as American Express Canada revealed four new offers today for hotel stays in Alberta, B.C., Ontario and Quebec. The offer is the same for each province in that when you spend at least $250 at a hotel or hotels in each province you’ll receive a $50 statement credit. Each offer is separate meaning you can earn the credit up to four times if you have qualifying purchases across all four provinces. The offer is available on all American Express cards and each are capped at the first 25,000 cardmembers who register so you’ll want to make sure you go register for these offers right away. You can find the offer in the Amex Offers section of your online account or on the Amex app. If for some reason they don’t show up and/or you want to register supplementary cards you can visit this page on American Express’ site to register your card(s) manually…
