Here’s your Rewards Canada Daily update! Your daily dose (or near daily dose) of loyalty program, credit card and travel news, bonuses, deals and more. This update is brought to you by the HSBC World Elite Mastercard which is currently offering a welcome bonus of up to 100,000 bonus points worth $500, has no foreign transaction fees and no annual fee in the first year! There is another Marriott hotel stay bonus here in Canada. This one is for one of their newest hotels that we have featured on Rewards Canada several times over the past few months. That hotel is The Josie Hotel, Autograph Collection at Red Mountain Ski Resort near Rossland B.C.. As a grand opening special they are offering 3,000 bonus points for stays of 2 or more nights. We checked it out and it’s one of those offers that borders on being worthwhile or not. Depending on the days booked the bonus point rate ranged from $10 to well over $20 more per night over the Member Flexible Rate. On those days where it is only $10 more it might be worth it to go for the points but on nights where it is $20 or more not so much…
