Reminder: Increased welcome bonuses on the Marriott Bonvoy American Express Cards – 70,000 points + accelerated earn rates
– RewardsCanada.ca
Back in September American Express revealed new welcome offers for their Marriott co-brand cards that we wanted to remind our readers of. Technically speaking they are not the best ever overall offers but they are the highest ever in terms of the up front welcome bonus points (that’s if you don’t take into account the 25K offers on the old SPG cards!) No waiting 14-17 months to get your entire bonus either. Instead both cards will award 70,000 Marriott Bonvoy points each after meeting the minimum spend requirements in the first three months. On top of this they are offering accelerated category earn rates to earn up to 15,000 more points which means you can top out either card at 85,000 bonus points. The welcome offers are as follows: Marriott Bonvoy™ American Express® Card New Marriott Bonvoy™* American Express® Cardmembers earn 70,000 Welcome Bonus points after you charge $1,500 in net purchases to your Card in your first 3 months of Cardmembership• Plus, earn a total of 5 points for every $1 on eligible travel & gas purchases in Canada for your first 3 months of Cardmembership (up to 15,000 points)…MoneySense Toolkit: The mortgage affordability calculator

When completing a mortgage application, a lender may also take your credit history into account…
