Changes coming to the flight discount benefit on the BMO AIR MILES World Elite Mastercard
– RewardsCanada.ca
Just when I had hoped BMO was done with making changes to their credit cards they go and make another one! This time it is small but significant change that is happening to the BMO AIR MILES®† World Elite®* MasterCard®*. That change affects the AIR MILES discount flight benefit, the one that offer 15% off AIR MILES flight redemptions in North America. This change will take place as of July 4, 2022 and for some it will be good, for others not so good.If you are familiar with this benefit on the card you’ll know that you receive a 15% reduction in the miles required for any AIR MILES flight redemptions for travel in North America. The benefit can be used as many times as you want – there is no limitation other than the geographical requirement of North America. As of July 4 that benefit changes to a 25% discount on any flight worldwide but will be limited to a once per year discount and it will be capped at a maximum of 750 miles. That means the discount will work on one redemption per year of up to 3,000 miles…Air France unveils a new business class seat and your final call for the increased welcome offers on four Amex cards
