Sam let us know that they received a letter from Scotiabank letting them know that their Scotiabank American Express Card will accepted at IGA stores in Quebec as of October 2022. Historically, most IGA stores in Quebec have not accepted American Express (some have though) and while the letter states acceptance of the Scotiabank Amex I would be led to believe this means all Amex cards will be accepted at IGA stores in Quebec. This of course means you’ll soon be able to earn up to 6x points per dollar spent at Quebec IGA stores with the Scotia Amex Cards or 5x points on cards like the American Express Cobalt Card. —  As mentioned a few weeks ago from our piece An unsung benefit that provides big savings on premium travel with major airlines as well as WestJet economy class we would reach out to American Express about Air Canada’s participation in the International Airline Program…
