To me, Tim Hortons coffee tastes like hot sadness. I’m a bit of a snob that way. But every year, around this time, I’m still in the Tims’ line most days, waiting for my swilly fix. Why? It’s simple. I love Roll-Up-The-Rim-To-Win. I know it’s irrational. I know the extra money I spend on coffee is near statistically certain to outweigh the value of any prizes I might win. But I do it anyway.
