Now we aren’t 100% sure that TD is to blame here however when someone signs up for this card because of the benefits touted, it doesn’t look good for the card issuer! The issue surrounds the Airport Angel business class lounge access program that comes as a benefit with the TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite Privilege. Our reader upon instruction from TD signed up for the Aiport Angel program and set up the digital membership card on his phone.Upon trying to access the domestic Plaza Premium lounge in Toronto’s T1 terminal he was denied access. Here is the first email from our reader:FYI–I tried using the airport angel benefit offered with the new TD Visa Aeroplan Infinite Privileges ($399) card last night in Toronto and was denied entry—luckily I had a still current Amex Plat Membership reward card—this new TD Visa is quickly losing my support with the earlier loss of Hilton Honors Diamond status benefit…
