News, Tips & Tricks In the bonus offers section you’ll find a discount on buying Starpoints from Starwood Preferred Guest. Even with the highest discount of 25% you are buying Starpoints around 2.6 cents apiece not including GST. Unless you have an award in mind that you need to off your account for (either SPG or to an airline via the SPG transfer) then this discount may not be worthwhile. Also the bonus offer section are new flight bonuses from British Airways Executive Club that could be of interest to those of you in the Vancouver area. The offers include double Avios on Alaska flights between YVR and SEA plus Double Avios between Seattle and London, the latter is a great offer for those of you who cross the border to save money on flights!Turkish Airlines will be expanding their codesharing on Air Canada flights to/from Montreal.
