National Car Rental One Two Free / Rent Rent Reward Returns – Earn a free rental after two qualifying rentals (2 Versions)
– RewardsCanada.ca
One of the best Car Rental Reward program promotions, National Emerald Club’s One Two Free (US) / Rent Rent Reward (Canada) has returned. Once again there is a U.S. version and a Canadian version. The Canadian version is slightly better than the U.S. version on the rental portion as Canadians can credit Canadian and U.S. rentals towards the promo whereas their U.S. counterparts can only credit U.S. rentals (although both versions have a 300 point offer for Latin America/Caribbean and European rentals as well). You can also earn points for opting in for emails, using Emerald Reserve Service and/or booking your car via the mobile app . The one part of the promotion that Canadian’s don’t get is the 300 point refer-a-friend bonus that the U.S. does however Canadians do get a survey bonus of 50 points. That refer a friend a bonus does require those new referrals to complete a rental to earn the bonus.Offer Details Earn a Free Rental day when you earn 600 points or complete two qualifying rentals…August 21 Update: Icelandair to launch Montreal service, Air France KLM seat sale, tons of great bonuses!

– canadianbusiness.com
MADRID – Authorities say Spain has seen a record 38 million tourists in the first seven months of the year as a weak euro and security issues in other beach resort nations like Tunisia make it a more attractive destination.
The state tourism office said Friday the January-through-July figure was 4.7 per cent up on the record set in the same period in 2014. British tourist arrivals, at nearly nine million, topped the list for the period.
The tourism office said July saw a record number of 8.8 million visitors, up 6.3 per cent on July 2014.
Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy says the country expects a record 68 million tourists for all of 2015, three million more than the record set in 2014.
Tourism represents about 11 per cent of Spain’s GDP.
