New TD First Class Visa Infinite offer: 20,000 Bonus Points, $150 Expedia for TD Credit and 50% off first year annual feeThe TD First Class Visa Infinite has a new sign up offer as of this month. Gone is the great 40,000 point and 1st year free sign up offer. The new offer is yet another obvious push for TD’s partnership with Expedia. As you may or may not be aware this card was devalued on the redemption side when it was announced that travel bookings made outside of Expedia for TD would cost more points as of August 16th however that was further extended to November 15th. Now with this latest sign up offer you can see that push for Expedia as not only is that your best avenue for redemption but instead of offering 40,000 points you now get 20,000 points and a $150 Expedia for TD rebate. The value of which is worth more than the old 40,000 bonus points as those were worth $200 and now the combination of points and rebate is $250 but also gone is the first year free rebate. Now with a 50% rebate you have to pay $60 in the first year meaning your total sign bonus value is brought down to $190. So this offer is not as good as the previous one…

Debt consolidators you can trust(ivanastar/Getty Images)
If you’re struggling with bill payments, don’t just go with the first debt consolidator you hear advertised on the radio. A better choice is to seek out the increasingly available services of a government-sponsored, not-for-profit agency—such as Alberta’s Money Mentors, which recently began offering free assistance to those trying to get a better handle on their finances. Both of these agencies can also negotiate debt repayment plans with creditors on your behalf for up to but no more than 10% of your monthly balance. But keep in mind you’ll still have to make monthly payments, including interest and fees, until your debt is fully paid off—typically, within 60 months…

3 Ways to Change Your Lifestyle to Save MoneyMany of us, in these tough times, are looking for ways to save money. You might be surprised, however, to discover that you don’t have to make huge changes to get ahead financially. Many of the things that you have ingrained as part of your lifestyle are costing you. Instead, look into increasing the amount of education you have in your life. Cancel the cable subscription and watch less TV. Instead of watching for three hours a day, pick a show or two you want to follow, and then watch an hour a day using a cheap streaming service like Netflix…
