Air Canada announced some new routes today and the big one is Dreamliner service from Toronto to Honolulu for the 2019/2020 winter season! Ever since AC pulled their internationally configured 767 off of the Calgary to Maui route there have not been any lie flat seats available between Canada and Hawaii. Now we see the return of them and this is lucky for Torontonians! This move almost seems like a preemptive strike at WestJet who have been hinting at using their 787 Dreamliners to Hawaii. Granted if WS does it will likely be out of Calgary but with AC going direct with theirs you won’t see many YYZers connecting in YYC for the lie flat option! These Toronto-Honolulu flights will operate three times per week from Dec 14 to Apr 26.
