OFFER EXTENDED: 100,000 points & first year free on the HSBC World Elite Mastercard

The 100,000 bonus HSBC Rewards points on the HSBC World Elite® Mastercard® was set to end on January 31 but it has now been extended to April 4, 2021. On top of the 100,000 point bonus on the HSBC World Elite Mastercard this current welcome bonus also provides no annual fee in the first year for the primary cardholder. Those 100,000 points are worth $500 towards any travel! Since Quebec doesn’t allow the first year free waiver the offer there is a whopping 130,000 points worth $650 towards travel but you do have to pay the annual fee so you end up with $501 in travel value.The bonus outside of Quebec is awarded as follows:20,000 Point Welcome Bonus on your first purchase50,000 points when you spend $6,000 in the first 180 days 10,000 points when you add an authorized user20,000 points as a card anniversary bonusand its purchase earn rates are as follows: 6 points per eligible dollar spent on all eligible travel spending – This earn rate is only awarded on the first $50,000 spent in this category annually3 points per dollar spent on all other spendingThe 100,000 points bonus once achieved are worth $500 in travel rewards but in fact you will have at least 118,000 points as you would be earning a minimum 3 points per dollar on the $6,000 in required spend…
Buy or gift Aeroplan Points with up to a 100% bonus

Aeroplan’s first buy points bonus of the year is here and it’s a pretty good one. For the next week you’ll be able to buy or gift points with up to a 100% bonus. This tiered offer sees bonuses ranging from 50% to 80% dependent on how many points you buy. This offer runs until February 2, 2022 and allows members to buy up to 350,000 points per transaction up to the annual limit of 1 million points. If you buy 5,000 to 19,000 points you’ll earn a 60% bonus, 20,000 to 55,000 points will earn a 75% bonus, 60,000 to 90,000 you’ll get a 90% bonus and 100,000+ will earn the 100%. If you buy points at the 100% level, which kicks in at 60,000 or more bought points, your cost on each point is 1.75 cents (C$) each before taxes. If you are savvy eyed you’ll notice that’s higher than the 1.67 cents it cost during their last promotion to buy points with an 80% bonus. Yes, unfortunately at the beginning of December Air Canada Aeroplan increased the base per point purchase cost to 3.5 cents from 3 cents…
