There are some tax deductions and credits you know you should claim on your income tax return every year. It’s unlikely you’ll ever forget to deduct your RRSP contributions, for example, and claiming a tax credit for your charitable donations is a no-brainer. But other claims can be easy to overlook if they’re new—or just new to you because you haven’t had the opportunity to use them before.
With that in mind, here are some of the deductions and credits that you should check to see if you are eligible to claim this year—along with their potential tax savings—to make sure you don’t end up leaving money on the table. Offer Extended: Record high welcome bonuses on Tangerine Mastercards – 15% cash back for the first 2 months
– RewardsCanada.ca
Tangerine’s biggest cash back bonuses ever – percentage wise that is have been extended! Both the Tangerine Money-Back Credit Card and the Tangerine World Mastercard will award a 15% cash back welcome earn rate in the first two months for any new approved applications made by January 31, 2022. The 15% is capped on $1,000 of purchases for a total cash back reward of $150. After that 15% cap is hit or after 2 months the regular earn rate of up to 2% cash back kicks in. Therein lies the key to the details of the offer. That’s why we say it is the biggest cash back bonus percent wise, we have never seen 15% before however since it is capped at $1,000 of spending it doesn’t match the likes of the 10% back offers that are typically awarded on $2,000 in spending ($200 cash back) or in the case of the SimplyCash™ Preferred Card from American Express which awards 10% back on the first $4,000 of spending for $400 cash back. However in the market of no annual fee cards these Tangerine offers are definitely some of the best out there…Your December points & miles agenda – these offers are all slated to end this month
