With the start of a new school year just around the corner, parents across the country are starting to think about back-to-school shopping and making sure their kids are prepared for their first day back. However, as prices all around us keep climbing, many moms and dads may be worrying about what this will mean for their back to school budget.
According to Statistics Canada, the consumer price index is up 1.3 per cent from this time last year and I think we can all feel it — especially when we look at our grocery bills. A recent report from Consolidated Credit found that Canadians spend an average of $108 per child on back to school supplies, but I have a few tips that can help you save some money this September!
