Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Down four cents, or 3.01 per cent, to $1.29 on 5.8 million shares.
Canadian Oil Sands Ltd. (TSX:COS). Oil and gas. Down 49 cents, or 5.56 per cent, to $8.33 on 3.7 million shares. A lawyer for Suncor Energy (down 14 cents, or 0.38 per cent, to $36.28 on two million shares) said the Alberta Securities Commission should overturn an extended deadline for shareholders of Canadian Oil Sands to decide whether to accept its proposed takeover bid. David Tupper also warned that COS’s share price risks dropping significantly because Suncor will not extend its $4.5-billion offer, which is set to expire next Friday.
