News, Tips & Tricks American Express AeroplanPlus Card Updates – As you know late on Friday we put out a notice to grab the American AeroplanPlus Gold Card as it was changing today. That change is now in effect and you will only receive 15,000 bonus Aeroplan Miles when you spend $500 rather than the 25,000 that has been standard for several years now. Now this is the public offer available to everyone however the refer a friend bonus has not been changed yet, it still states 26,000 Aeroplan Miles. If you would like to jump on that offer before it changes email me at info@rewardscanada.ca and I can refer you. I would recommend taking a screen shot of the page showing 26,000 miles and then apply as it can change at any minute! On the flip side, the good news from Amex is that have boosted the bonuses for the AeroplanPlus reserve card to 60,000 (from 50,000) and to 50,000 for the Platinum version (from 40,000). The refer a friend bonuses on these HAVE NOT been updated so the public offer is better right now…
