Today Aeroplan launched their annual Black Friday offers for shopping online via the Aeroplan eStore! From now until November 29 you can earn up to 10X the points when you shop online at select retailers that are partners in Aeroplan’s online shopping portal. Members can also get up to 10% off when redeeming points for merchandise via the eStore.Here’s a snippet of just a small number of the offers:Shopping online via the eStore also counts towards another promotion that Air Canada launched today where you can earn up to 5,000 bonus points for taking advantage of multiple offers within the program. There are actually quite a few promotions within Aeroplan’s Black Friday Spectacular that they launched today. From the eStore offer (covered here) to a multiple offer usage bonus and more. One of those offers is a bonus on buying Aeroplan points. You can earn a 50% bonus when you buy points between today and November 29th. As long as you buy the minimum of 2,000 points you’ll get the 50% bonus. Here’s a look at what it costs to buy the maximum amount of points:With this offer Aeroplan is allowing members to buy up to 350,000 points which means with the bonus you would end up with 525,000 points. The 50% bonus puts the price of each points at C$ 2 cents and that does not included GST/HST. This is an OK price but nothing like what we saw when Aeroplan first launched the option of buying points earlier this year. There are definitely times where you will be able to get way above 2 cents in value when redeeming for flights, namely in business and first class but it may tougher for economy class flights…AIR MILES Shop the Block is here – Earn up to 1,200 bonus miles for using multiple partners

The annual AIR MILES Shop the Block event launched today and presents a really nice bonus mile earning opportunity for AIR MILES collectors. If you meet the requirement of using Shop the Block coupons at 3 or more sponsors you’ll be awarded with up to 1,200 Rewards Miles over and above the base miles and coupon bonus miles awarded. The maximum 1,200 miles is the same as we saw last year so it looks like we won’t see the 2,000 miles like we saw in 2017 and 2018. This year the bonuses are as follows:Use 3 different offers Get 300 Bonus Miles (Same as 2019)Use 5 different offers Get 800 Bonus Miles (Same as 2019)Use 7 different offers Get 1,200 Bonus Miles (Same as 2019)Depending on where you live, what you have already linked your AIR MILES account to (ie linking Samsung pay) and where you need to shop, the bonuses can come to you at not much cost this year. It all depends on what your shopping habits will be for the next month and a half or so!
