New Amex Offers for Subway and online shopping at select retailers It’s Monday so you know what that means? More American Express Amex Offers being revealed! Here in the Rewards Canada household we received two new offers this week for Subway and also for online or mobile shopping with any one of five retailers. The Subway offer I received on the Platinum Card from American Express and it is as follows: Make a qualifying purchase of at least $15 using your registered Card at Subway® location(s) in Canada in-store, on the Subway® App or at www.subway.com/en-ca/ by 31/12/2021 and earn a one-time $5 statement credit. Registration cap applies. Terms apply.I’ll probably have this one achieved this week!  The Subway offer does show up on the general Amex Offers shopping page so it appears it is open to all Amex cardmembers. If you didn’t receive the offer in your account you can try registering for it here. And then I received the online/mobile shopping offer on my American Express Gold Card, which was a surprise as this card has barely seen any offers:Spend at least $50 in qualifying purchases using your registered Card in the mobile application or online at Best Buy, Hudson’s Bay, Indigo, Simons and Urban Barn by 31/12/2021 and earn a one-time $20 statement credit…

Awesome deal - Stay 3 nights at the St. Regis Toronto and only pay for 2 plus get a $100 hotel credit We found an amazing offer for longer stays at the luxurious St. Regis Toronto hotel! They currently have a book three nights but only pay two offer that also includes a $100 hotel credit that can be used for food and beverage or at the spa. This offer is available for stays until March 31, 2022 and we checked it out to see if it is a good deal or not. And it is a good deal – read on to find out. Here’s a price comparison of the 3 for 2 stay offer, the standard rate and even the prepaid non-refundable rate:There’s no touching the 3 for 2 rate! With $657 in savings before fees and taxes over the standard rate and it does $248 better than the non-refundable prepaid rate. And that doesn’t even take the $100 hotel credit into consideration. This example was for a three night stay however you can book for any stays of 3 nights or longer. I tested a four night stay and it discounted the stay by 33% per night! HSBC's low interest Mastercard is offering a welcome bonus of 30,000 bonus points and no annual fee in the first year There’s been a lot of focus around the return of the 100K points offer on the HSBC World Elite Mastercard and that’s kind of overshadowed a pretty decent offer on their lower end rewards card. That card is the HSBC +Rewards™ Mastercard® which is their entry level and low interest rewards card which right now comes with a 30,000 point welcome bonus and the first year $25 annual fee rebated*. This is one of the best offers seen on this card to date. There are two primary reasons people like to get this particular HSBC card. The first is to build a relationship with the bank when the applicant may not be in the position to apply for the higher end HSBC World Elite Mastercard just yet and second is for the lower full time interest rate. This is the key factor on this card – it is an actual rewards card that comes with set lower interest rates so if you are someone who carries a balance and wants to earn rewards this card is an option. The set interest rate is 11.9% across the board which is roughly 7 to 9% lower than most cards in the market save for those that compete in this low interest space…

New Air Canada Aeroplan Booster feature - pay to multiply the points you've earned Aeroplan and Points.com have teamed up again to add yet another points earning initiative for the program.  Called Aeroplan Booster this new option allows Aeroplan members to pay to multiply the miles they earned in the past month with the program. We’ve seen similar ‘Boost’ initiatives where you can pay to earn more miles and points but typically only for flying – Virgin Atlantic Flying Club’s Mile Booster is probably the most famous one. However this one goes in a different direction by allowing you to boost all the points you earned from non-flight activities. Here’s what Points.com provided to us:With Booster, Aeroplan Members get a preferential rate to multiply their earned points by up to five times their value. Initially, points earned from an Aeroplan credit card, the Aeroplan eStore, or through Aeroplan’s everyday retail, car and hotel partners will be eligible for boosting. Aeroplan Members who take advantage of this exciting new product can boost up to 600,000 of their points a year, for up to 3 million additional points…
