Long time Rewards Canada reader Harry B. pointed out to us that the new Shell Go+ AIR MILES initiative that we detailed on Monday had one negative change which of course isn’t pointed out in the marketing of the partnership. It appears that you can no longer earn AIR MILES on lottery purchases at Shell. Harry mentioned he’ll shift to buying lottery tickets at Petro-Canada where they still award Petro-Points on those purchases (and More Rewards points until the end of the month). You may recall we had a post from 2017 detailing how buying lotto tickets at Petro-Canada could net you 4% or higher return. Rexall is offering 50,000 bonus points ($20 in value) when you spend $75 or more on comsetics, skin care, nail care, hair care and hair colour products on Thursday July 16.
