Your daily dose (or near daily dose) of loyalty program, credit card and travel news, bonuses, deals and more. A new Amex Offers offer came out this week. This one is for Godiva Chocolates (perfect timing for Easter!) and provides a one-time $10 statement credit when you spend at least $50 in qualifying purchases using your registered Card at www.godiva.ca by May 15. I received it on my Platinum Card but I do believe it is open to all Amex cards since it is listed on their general registration page. Learn more about this and other Amex Offers in our Guide to American Express Canada ‘Amex Offers’ — It appears that the U.S. CBP wants to increase the fee for NEXUS cardholders by a significant amount. Right now it costs US$50 to apply for or renew a NEXUS Trusted Traveler membership. That may be jumping to US$120 as the the U.S. CBP has applied to increase fees for the Global Entry and SENTRI programs. They are proposing a new fee of US$120 for those programs and in the application they mention they will apply separately to adjust NEXUS as well so it is harmonized with their other programs…
