Another day another release of more Amex Offers! Two new offers appeared today across many Canadian American Express Cardmembers accounts. The first is from Hugo Boss (in our house we received it on our Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card and The Platinum Card) and it provides a $50 statement credit when you spend $250 or more. The second offer also shows up under Amex Offers but is only for American Express Cobalt Cards as it is considered one of their Cobalt Perks offers. This means any and all Cobalt cards can take advantage of it. So if you don’t see it in your Amex Offers simply go to the Cobalt Perks page and register for the offer there. Don’t forget that you can also go to Chapters Indigo via an online shopping portal like the Aeroplan eStore and also collect your Chapters Indigo Plum Rewards on the purchase!If you are eligible you’ll find these offers in your Amex account for you to register for. The latest AIR MILES Bonus Boom event kicked off today with a whole bunch of bonus miles offers for various AIR MILES partners. Most of the bonuses are available between today and October 14 although several like the AIR MILES Hotels have already been in market and will continue to be in market past the main promotional period. Once again if you use three different Bonus Boom offers you’ll get 95 bonus AIR MILES With Bonus Boom you can earn well over 1,000 bonus miles with all the offers but in reality most collectors will be earning upward of several hundred miles. It really depends on what shopping you need to get done – for example you could stock up on your Thanksgiving or even Christmas alcohol at Sobeys or Safeway liquor where if you spend $200 you’ll get 250 bonus miles and not to mention there are offers for buying gift cards for those two grocery stores as well! Then you have your usual type offers from Shell, Rona, Global Pet Foods and more. Early on in September we let you know about World of Hyatt’s next systemwide bonus offer for stays called Bonus Journeys. That promotion officially opened up today for registration and stays at all participating Hyatt Hotels. The promotion awards Triple Points on all stays Worldwide from October 1, 2020 to January 4, 2021 starting right with your first stay. The offer doesn’t end there however, those members who hold World of Hyatt credit cards will earn quadruple points on eligible spend at over 350 Hyatt Resort locations. This CC offer is pretty much for the US only but I know some of our Canadian readers do hold the US Hyatt cards! You can find the list of resort locations here. Overall this means members will earn between 15 an 20 points per US$ spent on their stays excluding any elite bonus points.The promotion doesn’t stop there however – on top of bonus points, every tier qualifying night completed during the promotional period members will earn one Tier-Qualifying Night credit toward elite status the year in which they earn it and they will receive one bonus Tier-Qualifying Night credit toward elite status in 2021…
