First hinted at in August, then revealed in October on the same day as the new 787 route announcements, WestJet’s new top elite tier, Platinum is official as of today. This means if you have hit the qualification requirements already this year ($8,000 of spend on WestJet) you are officially a Platinum Status member. If this describes you, well congratulations! You can access all your Platinum benefits right away! To learn more about Platinum visit WestJet’s page on Platinum status or read our overview:To reach the new Platinum status level you will need to spend $8,000 (before taxes/fees) with WestJet during your 12 month qualification period which based on the day you joined WestJet Rewards.
