Joint Life Insurance Plans

Joint life insurance plans are plans where there is more than one (usually two) insured persons on a single policy. There are several types of joint life insurance: “first to die” plans, “last to die” plans and combined plans.
These joint plans offer a small premium discount when compared to the sum of separate life insurance plans and should be considered as viable options when it is important that the death benefit is paid out when either the first or last insured person passes away.
