AIR MILES Shops Boxing Week deal – Earn 10x miles site wide for your online shopping
– RewardsCanada.ca
If you haven’t had enough of online shopping just yet then this week is another good one to get some done and rack up some bonus miles. AIR MILES is offering 10x miles site wide on AIR MILES Shops purchases made by December 31. As long as your purchase meets the minimum requirement for earning at least 1 AIR MILES Reward Mile you’ll receive the bonus. Then remember to earn the retailer’s loyalty points as well by logging in once you are that retailers site (ie Indigo Plum Rewards) and then use your miles or points earning card for the purchase such as the American Express AIR MILES Platinum card or the BMO AIR MILES World Elite Mastercard. Also if you haven’t done so yet just yet you can still earn the 30 bonus miles with AIR MILES Shop the Block if you spend $100 or more in a single transaction today (as Shop the Block ends today)Here’s an example of some the mileage earning you can get with the online shopping bonuses. Over the past month or so I have taken advantage of both 10x and 15x bonus offers plus earned the Shop the Block and Holiday bonus miles they were offering:Right now I funnel all my AIR MILES earning into Cash Rewards as I am sitting on a very healthy Dream Rewards balance so the above purchases essentially earned me just over $61 in Cash Rewards…Up to a 15% bonus when you convert points from American Express, HSBC or RBC to Cathay Pacific Asia Miles
– RewardsCanada.ca
Back on December 17th we gave you a heads up about the annual Cathay Pacific Asia Miles conversion bonus from their financial partners. That offer is now live and you can register for it right away. The bonus ranges from 10% to 15% depending on the member and is for conversion from credit card partners that allow you to transfer points to Asia Miles. It is not for cards that actually earn Asia Miles like the RBC Cathay Pacific Visa Platinum Card. If you get an email from Asia Miles telling you register right now you won’t have to worry about completing the form, the link in the email does it for you: and you’ll end up with the following confirmation:If you didn’t get the email or missed it somehow you can still register for the offer right off of the Asia Miles website here.In Canada the Asia Miles program has three financial partners whose credit card points can be converted to Asia Miles:This means you can convert points from American Express Membership Rewards (not MR Select though), HSBC Rewards and RBC Rewards (Avion cards only)…Last day to jump on the 100,000 point offer from HSBC for their World Elite Mastercard! That’s $500 towards any travel or $300 cash back
– RewardsCanada.ca
HSBC’s biggest and best offer for the HSBC World Elite Mastercard that is also one of the best ever bonuses ever seen in Canada (definitely in the Top 5 ever in terms of value) ends tonight! As we already mentioned just under two weeks we know for sure the offer is not being extended. The offer for all of Canada sans Quebec is up to 100,000 points which ties the highest ever points offer outside of Quebec. The PC Optimum World Elite Mastercard and ATB Gold My Rewards Mastercard have both offered 100,000 in the past but those two offers were only worth $100. On top of the 100,000 point bonus on the HSBC World Elite Mastercard this current welcome bonus also provides no annual fee in the first year for the primary cardholder. Those 100,000 points are worth $500 towards any travel and as that first year annual fee is waived you get the full value of that $500! Since Quebec doesn’t allow the first year free waiver the offer there is a whopping 130,000 points (this is highest ever bonus in Canada numerically speaking) worth $650 towards travel but you do have to pay the annual fee so you end up with $501 in travel value…
