Flair Airlines offering a 100% discount on their base fares for travel in February (Must book by Jan 27)
– RewardsCanada.ca
Thanks to Davidd418 for alerting us to this pretty awesome seat sale from Flair Airlines. Their Free Base Fare in February sale is just that – the base fare is free, you simply pay the taxes and fees (and any add ons like baggage). The sale is good for any Flair destinations and the flights must be booked by January 27 (or while seats last) for travel in February. As David pointed out to us there are some flights that are available for as little as $14 round trip. Here’s an example of a one way flight from Abbotsford to Calgary on February 11: If you want to travel bare bones or as Flair calls it the bare bundle, the flight will only cost $7.48! As the sale is promoted as ‘while seats last’ I would jump on this offer sooner than later if there are flights the interest you!Click here for more details and to book this offer. If we take the above example and apply our very popular article Four credit cards that can make flying with Flair Airlines even cheaper you could purchase these flights with a card like the Scotia Gold American Express Card and redeem 748 points to get it absolutely free…
HSBC is expanding their credit card portfolio for the everyday Canadian with the launch of the HSBC Travel Rewards Mastercard®. We say everyday Canadian as up until a few years ago most of their credit card offerings were limited to HSBC customers or those with high net worth. That changed when they launched the awesome travel rewards HSBC World Elite Mastercard and then followed it up with the low interest rewards card the HSBC +Rewards Mastercard. As of this week they have now added a third card that is open to anyone applying for it and it also marks the bank’s entrance into the no fee rewards card space. As already mentioned the HSBC Travel Rewards Mastercard® is a no annual fee rewards card. Typically your no annual fee rewards cards are more entry level cards and this card fits right into that spot. It is great introduction to HSBC and the HSBC Rewards program for those who may not be at the income level to get the HSBC World Elite Mastercard or are simply wanting to fill a Mastercard position in their wallet with a no fee card…
