Priority Pass, the world’s largest third party lounge access program sent us an email just over a week ago to advise us to advise our readers of an upcoming increase to the lounge per visit fee. You may have seen the news already as lots of U.S. blogs have covered it but just in case you haven’t here are the details.As of September 18th the per visit fee for entering a lounge will be increased to US$32 from US$27. All the new fees, most Canadians should only be paying the US$ amount It is surprising to note that they haven’t increased their prices since 2002 seeing that they are the most aggressive in adding new lounges and experiences each month.For Canadians you can get Priority Pass via your credit card or you can simply purchase an annual membership and depending on the level of membership that you buy, you may or may not have to pay the entry fee each time you enter a Priority Pass lounge.The three levels of membership that Priority Pass provides are as followsStandard Membership – full annual fee US$99Standard membership provides access to over 950 airport VIP lounges at a cost of US$32 per person per visit…Weekly rate report: Average card rate rises to 16.92 percent
